This seminar, compiled by Ana M\u00e9ndez de And\u00e9s [Observatorio Metropolitano] and hosted at the Museum Reina Sofia (MNRS) in Madrid, generously allowed time to explore some of the intrinsically more complex sides of urban commons and commoning. In the company of a\/o Maria Grazia Giannichedda [<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fondazionebasaglia.it\" target=\"_blank\">Fondazione Basaglia<\/a>], Francisco Lara, Laia Forn\u00e9 [<a href=\"http:\/\/lahidra.net\" target=\"_blank\">La Hidra<\/a>], and Francesca Bria [<a href=\"http:\/\/dcentproject.eu\" target=\"_blank\">D-cent<\/a>] the enclosure of public resources through the act of commoning, the relation between citizens\u2019 movements and emerging political parties, as well as the (degree of) necessity of a public backbone to society have been put to the fore. Needless to mention that on neither of these aspects conclusive positions can be taken in a subject so much under formation as the commons.
