[2-4 march 2010, Architecture Foundation and SPACE, London] Legacy Plus: Interim Uses and East London’s Olympic Legacy, organised by The Architecture Foundation, in partnership with SPACE, is a three-day symposium that takes a creative and propositional look at the transition phase of London’s 2012 Olympic Legacy — constructively exploring the role that temporary structures and interim uses can play in influencing the future evolution of East London, both in and around the Olympic site.
The symposium will open with the Legacy Now 5 forum, an open dialogue between stakeholders, policy makers and creative practitioners.
Through a combination of two public dialogues at The Architecture Foundation, and invited professional workshops and site visits, Legacy Plus will go on to examine how this interim period, before and after the games, might be used as a progressive and experimental planning tool to constructively inform the character of the permanent legacy, and the future of East London.
Within this event International Dialogue One with EXYZT and STEALTH.unlimited, in conversation with East will take place on March 2nd at 19.00, at the Architecture Foundation.
